What was the point in answering all forms online the day before if they can't find them in the system. Had to go over everything again - waste of time.

On arrival paper all in oder excellent many thanks to warrick wright and his support mr ching and bradford any thanks. But that is where it stops. Ringing the bell for assistance wasin most caes a total waste of time. With an arm in a sling and side up on my bed and 2 hours i was devasted to wet my bed, this happened twice. So another day I am off the heavy drugs, need toilet, noone came so I managed to wriggle down and sqeeze past the sides, but indoing so I dislodged a bung in my hand and blood went everywhere as my blood isbeing thinned. Still no no one came so I had to go outand get someones attention. I was wiped down of blood, not washed clean nightie over the blood still on my stomach, then nothing for a few hours then a wonderful young man came in and arrangedmy meds about 5.30 then nothing until the night shift came on and I was attennded to by a lovely sympathetic nurse at 10.30pm.. I am putting this down here so I don't forget as I was angry and trumatised. Took 2 hours to change my bloodied bed. The food is good cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. So inshort I was sent to coventry fot putting blood around my room. I would welcome comments or your own experiences. I just want out of here. My name is Pat East not annon.

I was ready to provide a 5 star review and everything exceptional with my recent 1 night stay. The check in was done in 5 mins, i got in my room in less than 10 mins, and everyone else after that was super awesome. I was having trouble remembering all their names, from the ward nurses, the theater doctors and technicians and everyone else cos they all went the extra mile to help me especially my night nurse who had to deal with me every 1 hour crying in pain or when I needed the bed pan. Morning came, and my breakfast was dropped off and I asked politely if there was ham anywhere in the breakfast? Mind you cos I was given the exact same sandwich post surgery night before. Now, I wasn’t trying to be a pain, I just dont eat it because of my religious practice. The lady told me ‘ I don’t know my dear, if you didn’t say anything then they wouldn’t know.’ I then tried explaining that I wasn’t provided a menu to even make a choice. Her response next threw me off, she said ‘well, if you check in you normally wouldn’t get the option to pick as well’. Really now? By this time, I was ready to flip. I had no sleep, took 7 pain killers in the span of 12 hours, had to pee in a pan, and was crying all night long. I now have this lady who has not only manage to make me feel guilty of my own religious belief and choice, but also indicated to me that with the amount of money I have and will be paying to this hospital for its service, I would not be able to request for a desired meal. Insurance money is my money by the way. I pay for the service. I could have started an argument, but at that moment I was just too tired. I decided to check the meal myself, get it swaped via my nurse if I needed too, and I also had the next neighbour’s mum helping with coffee, milk and sugar. This is why Im giving a 3 star instead of 5. Such a shame, everyone was really kind, I even had Zac wheel me in and help me in my car. By the way, the pregnant lady delivering the food was lovely, she even gave me an extra cake, my biff is with the other.

Attending the Avenue Hospital today was my first experience having a procedure performed in a hospital. Reception had all my paperwork in perfect order and I went through very quickly. The one thing I remember about the nursing staff were their smiles. I am grateful to have a first time experience where I was in a bed looking up at so many people smiling down at me. This helped me feel relaxed. Holly was particularly lovely.

Then the stupid nurse got distracted (her words) and call the wrong person to pick me up. Excuse me, can you read???!!! Got distracted?! So next time you can make a mistake that can cost a lot more.

They couldn't find my name in the system then couldn't get it right. It took ages to fix everything and call the health fund.
